'The Sims' is a life-simulation game that has come to be hugely successful in its lifetime. Its interesting gameplay style can fit for almost anyone as there is no wrong way to play the game.
While some like focusing on creating lives and either bringing their freshly created sims to their highest pique to their deepest downfall; others may have more enjoyment for the heavily involved building system. The range of ways to play is almost endless, and what makes this even more entertaining is the fact that even when you get your last sim to the end of their life; somehow, there is still so much you can do; as proven by the many challenges provided by the community.
Here is a list of some creative and exciting challenges that will have you playing The Sims as if it were a brand new game, once again. Enjoy:
Rags To Riches:
The 'Rags to Riches' challenge, brought together by SimishGamer, is a very complex and involved challenge that will take away all those easy steps of your typical Sims game.
Usually, when you decide to start a game, you make your sim, you will start with at least 20,000 simoleons, (The Sims' in-game currency name) and you can head straight into buying a pre-made house or even building your own. However, this challenge will not allow you to make it so easy on yourself.
To start off the challenge, after making your Sim you must place them on the biggest empty lot in your world, and then take away every penny of their money, which can be done with the cheat: money 0, in the cheat command bar that you get by pressing shift+ctrl+c.
As soon as you get rid of all of your money, you will begin your life on making your sim live off of nothing but the land around them, while also taking advantage of their environments, such as public parks and other areas.
There are various ways to earn money, which you will need to do to complete this challenge, this includes doing things such as harvesting and caring for plants in parks, (you aren't allowed to garden anything on your own lot,) or even painting with an easel in other public facilities. You will have to play in a very tricky style to help your homeless sim survive, but once you begin progressing with skills and money, you will eventually be able to work your way up to becoming the richest and most successful Sim in the entire game.
Rags to Riches is a complicated yet very engaging challenge that may take quite a while to complete, so if you have the time and are interested; definitely try it out! You can find the more fleshed-out information here.
