As Super Bowl LII draws nearer, there are fewer teams in contention for the big game. My team, the Detroit Lions, failed to even make it into the playoffs, but my backup team was, I believed, all but guaranteed a spot in the big game. That is, until today when they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars, leaving me in the same position as many of you... Thanks a lot, Steelers.
So what do the rest of us do now? Do we give up until next year, hide from our neighbors who always seem to be in town when their team beats your team, or do we face the heat, head on and wear our favorite team's jersey in public anyway because we are real fans, and if they go down, you go down with them?
Well, all of these are viable options, it really just depends on you, your state of mind, and how you cope with a loss. Just because your team is out of it, doesn't mean you can't still throw the best Super Bowl Party ever, and since your team lost, it doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to make this one any more special than the last one you threw when your team wasn't playing, so what should you do?
